I have always painted and exhibited my work. My first obsession in art was the expressionists, surrealists and the Russian revolutionaries and I am still very much into working with contrasts; contrasting colours, day and night, light and dark or a contrasting message and meaning. I still favour the labour intensive oil paints simply because of the luminous quality of the paints but also use acrylics and watercolours for its immediacy and simplicity. After spending years facilitating and supporting creativity I began exploring with screen-printing again which has inspired my current way of painting with Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK) as used in printing. And as I love to explore I have added fluorescent colours to my palette. Most of my work can be found on this website and If you are interested in any of my work or a limited edition print please get in touch or have a look in the "Editions" section.
