Linda Skoglund is a Swedish London based artist with a love for colour and the creative process. After training as a Visual Artist in Sweden for 3 years she went on to study Art & Design Foundation and BA in Visual Communication in London and have been a practicing artist and creative facilitator ever since.

The surrealist and theatrical aspect of an alternative world is a strong source of inspiration. Playfully painted sketches could end up on the canvasses and come into being before the paintings. An important part of the process is finding the essence of the subject where the work is often simplified in the drawing stages by taking away unnecessary information, using the medium that best suits the work to convey a message and meaning.

The “Battersea” prints was selected for the “ Battersea Art Station” exhibition 2015 shown at BAC together with 450 pieces of works. She regularly takes on commissions for art events, businesses and individuals alike where she works closely with the commissioner to ensure a satisfying outcome.

My Story

I exhibit regularly and happily take on a few commissions per year. It can be anything from large scale murals, portraits and recently a personalised board game.

I have always developed my skills and passion for using art as wellbeing and facilitated creative workshops for many years. I have continuously developed my practice as a facilitator and in 2014 studied Art Therapy at Metáfora in Barcelona. Earlier this year I went to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand and worked with Art as Therapy for various NGO's.
