The surrealist and theatrical aspect of an alternative world is a strong source of inspiration. Playfully painted sketches could end up on the canvasses and come into being before the paintings. An important part of the process is finding the essence of the subject where the work is often simplified in the drawing stages by taking away unnecessary information, using the medium that best suits the work to convey a message and meaning.
The screen-printed “Battersea I” and "III" prints were selected for the “ Battersea Art Station” exhibition 2015 shown at BAC together with 450 pieces of artists' works. She regularly takes on commissions for art events, businesses and individuals alike where she works closely with the commissioner to ensure a satisfying outcome.
